Jesus in the House

Mark 2:1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house.

Jesus made Capernaum His headquarters. This was an amazing place to visit. A coastal town on the northern Galilee, Peter and his wife lived there, very close to the synagogue. The synagogue is still there today, not in use of coarse, but standing. Why did Jesus choose this or any town on the Galilee? That answer doesnt really matter but what does is wherever Jesus went, things happened and people gathered. I'm amazed by how much technology we have in 2025 yet still cant get a simple message out that Jesus is in the house and what that means! Let this sink in, God was in the house! Is God in your house? What preparations would you do if you knew He was coming over? Do you think wlox news would show up? If Trump came to town, I'm sure news from the nation would be here. Yet Jesus shows up every Sunday, every Wednesday, & every time we meet. I still see empty seats! We need a Jesus awareness revolution. Jesus never left from the Jesus movement, we did. He still desires to heal the paralytic, to give those a sound mind, to heal the broken hearted, to give liberty to the captive. And without any hesitation, Jesus shows up in His house. Am I a conduit for Him? Do I expect this? I think so, but Lord, fill me with Your Spirit a fresh and new.
By the way, our visit to literal Capernaum was amazing. To step foot in the exact places Jesus walked & ministered, priceless. Two thousand years cant separate the experience of being there. Maybe people are not desperate enough, as they were then, to spread the news that Jesus is in the house? Maybe some are good with their misery? Maybe spending all their time & money with doctors is totally fine? Me, I'm desperate for Jesus!
