Our Commission
Luke 9:23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily,fn and follow Me.
In light of Jesus' mission, this is our commission as believers. It is not three separate steps but one step defined three ways. We are to deny our carnal selfish ambitions for a kingdom of God directives. We are to identify with Christ and take up His cross. Again, kingdom motivated and laying our lives down to for the embetterment of others. Then follow Jesus. Be like Him, talk like Him, live like Jesus.
Who do you desire to live like more? Yourself or Jesus?
