God Is in Control of Your Life
Philippians 1:12 But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, 13 so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ;
Paul knew everything that happened in his life was Father filtered. Basically, God is in control and allows things to happen in our lives. However, along with that statement, He only allows to a point and He has the ultimate last word of blessing to those who trust Him. The Spirit never leads us to avoid the mountains of problems but to hit them square on in courage and power that He gives. All things work together for good for those who love God and are called by Him. This is such maturity to realize whatever comes into your life, whether good or bad, can and will bring glory to God and will never destroy you. The only way it can is if you get away from His gracious loving arms of protection. I don't like things that happen to me or my loved ones or even at times understand why but I know that God is the answer and solution to every one of them and that's where I place my confidence!

What a timely message. With all the strughles happening in the world now and struggles close to home, I sometimes lose sight of my Savior. My Savior that is in control of all things including my simple life. When life becomes overwhelming I forget to look to the one that will help me overcome, JESUS! Lord, I need help where I fail too often, to keep my my eyes focused on You. God is in control. Not me.
