Saved by Grace thru Faith Alone
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
What does it mean to be saved by grace thru faith? Grace is undeserved favor from God. Jesus, the gift of God, was given to all of us who do not deserve Him. Grave is an actual giving of something we have not worked for or earned. God chose to grace us with salvation but actived through faith in Jesus. The two go together. You must believe that the work Jesus did for you on the cross was for you personally. A gift is not actually beneficial unless it is accepted. Some people never open or use the gifts that have been given them. Faith leads us to accept and recieve Jesus in our lives.
There is absolutely nothing we can do to earn salvation.
