Confession Unto Salvation
Luke 12:8 “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. 9 But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
This is crystal clear from our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Confess Jesus before men and He will confess you before His Father. Deny Him, and He will deny you before His Father.
Confession that Jesus Christ is your LORD is a requirement for eternal life. Its not alone to believe He exists, the demons do that. He must be your LORD. You believe Him He is your sacrifice for your sins. He is not ashamed to call you His.
But what if I mess up and sin? Well, your human! Repent of your sin, turn to God, ask Him to forgive you of that sin, and follow Jesus.
The simplicity of the Christian faith is summed up in our confession of Jesus Christ. Millions have been killed for their courageous firm stand upon that action. It hasn't changed for today.
No matter what amount of persecutions you may endure for your Faith, stand for Christ. You will never be ashamed of that.
