Don't Worry
Luke 12:22 Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. 23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
These two things named by Jesus were the basic necessities of life. To have food and clothing. Yet Jesus said, do not worry about your life. Worry is a part of this world but as Christians, we have the antidote to worry, its called faith and trust in the LORD. Earlier, Jesus said, don't fear him who is able to kill the body but cant do any more but fear Him who is able to kill the body and cast the soul into eternal damnation.
We worry because we feel we lost control of the situation. News flash, we never had control of any situation. The LORD has us. The LORD is in control.
