Jesus Links Worry to Faithlessness
Luke 12:28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
The point Jesus is making is that if He takes care of things in nature, how much more you are valuable to Him and He will provide every need. There is no reason to worry according to the LORD. In fact, when we worry, it only proves we doubt and we lack faith. Jesus said you of little faith! The you is me and you! The thousands of times I should know better yet still worry. Yes, the Lord brings me out of my worry but how much damage have I done in the meantime? Look, its not even a wonder if I doubt, I do, I have, but Lord forgive me of my unbelief. Help me to believe. Help me to rise above all worries and fears and trust Your proven word.
