Will there be few Saved?
Luke 13:23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?”
This is a real good question actually. I much rather have questions while being in the LORD's presence than think I know it all. Who out there, after knowing & seeing Jesus, thinks they are good enough for heaven? In fact, the more I know of the holiness of God, the less worthy I realize I am that He opens it up to me. Now, the LORD invites me to come by His love & grace.
This man had a real issue, after hearing Jesus speak, who in the world can be saved? There are only a few who could possibly achieve this. He is still off because none can be saved in of themselves. Salvation is the gift of God by faith through grace. He also errored in the fact that few are saved. Last time I read, a countless multitude will be in heaven all because of the blood shed by Jesus Christ.
I'm sure the religious leaders all had a different answer they would feed people about this subject. Unless you do the law of Moses, all 627 commands.
