The LORD still sits upon His throne
In this world, we go through all sorts of leaders. Some good. Many not so much. I can't fathom the feeling before Jesus came, the hopelessness and darkness that seemed to rule the earth. We'll, that's only if God was silent and there was no promise of His coming. There was and there still is.
God was fully in control then as He is now, irregardless of who leads this world. For now, satan has done a horrible job with his kingdom he stole but it's coming to an end.
During the days of Isaiah, little over 750 years before Christ would come to earth, it became very depressing! Uzziah, considered a great king for Judah, died. What would come next of this great nation? Who would fill the vacuum of his reign? The answer is given and it must be personally sought out by every man.
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.
God revealed a truth to Isaiah and lifted his spirit. He saw the LORD still sitting upon His throne. This will never change, praise be to the LORD most High. There is also coming a day of recogning. Jesus Christ will come again, not as a suffering Servant, but a conquering King. Do you see this? Do you trust God's word?
Times as this, draw out our faith & trust upon the LORD like no other. I would love all good leaders in this world but deep down, I know this is an impossibility until Jesus rules the earth as He does heaven. Until then, pray to see what Isaiah saw: our LORD Christ high and lifted up and sitting upon the throne. No office on earth can override Him.
