Truths are Forever
2 John 2 because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:
What a glorious reality about truth. Truth isn't a fade. It is not something we use to get a conversation started, ink the deal, then default to something completely different. Truth comes only from God and His word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He never phases out His word. Has God given you His word at any point in your life? He will bring it to pass and fulfill His word. So thankful Gods word doesn't get outdated or irrelevant. Many ministries go off the rails over that dangerous idea. They seek to be seeker friendly to the culture rather than effect the sinful culture with a sinless word of God. We change, we error, but Gods word is faithful and stalwart.

Amen! Feelings do not define truth. The Word of God assures us that the truth will set us free. Jesus says He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is an all in Lord, so it is vital to abide in His Word. Momentary feelings, seeker friendly and politically correct have no value in the Church. The Word and His love and mercy dwelling in us through the Spirit are unchanging and eternal.
You're right, Bob. Feelings come and go, but the Truth doesn't vary. We place our confidence in the God who never fails.
Amen Sondra. I hear so many wanting and waiting for that "feeling". Feelings fade. I don't have that feeling. What I do have is confidence. Confidence in the TRUTH of God's word.
