What makes a Joyful Pastor
3 John 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
I echo John on this. There is no other achievement in Gods house greater than this. Obviously, our own personal commitments to Jesus, and those of our direct families. But I will put my life's work upon this statement: Nothing would fill me more with joy than to see you all still walking in Jesus years from now, even until Jesus calls you home. I dont care for personal achievements or acquiring of this worlds accolades or goods but what I have given my life to is the furtherance of the gospel and last time I checked, the gospel involves people connecting with God. I never want to excel at the expense of anyone beside me failing. We dont have too, because the Spirit builds us all up in Him. Stay active in your experiencing the LORD.

Amen! Staying active in the word of God every single day, is the best way for me to know Him more. The spirit of God helps me focused on my own spiritual health and journey. Through it all, I can share His grace, goodness, love, mercy, and especially his gospel to those people who needs it. Discerning the thoughts and attitudes of my heart guides me towards righteousness. God’s word is not a static text but a living and dynamic force that is constantly working in the lives of those who believe. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.“ Hebrews 4:12.
I’m not a pastor but I am a product of a pastor who does the will of God. Just want to be clear.
