Called & Sent

John 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Do you know this about Gods calling on your life? God calls everyone and sends them to go with Him but everyone will not listen. There is this storm between us and God I believe that works to confuse this message. This storm I refer is a three headed beast: The world, our flesh, and satan. They seek to deceive man and confuse their purpose in life. They even convince some religious folks that God only calls some and not others. Look, God is all knowing and He knows who will and will not ultimately receive Him yet He never alters that persons choice about Him. This calling is not irresistible or an override of mans choices. It is the most loving and gracious thing that our God even desires us to be on His team. Are you living today in Gods calling upon your life? Are you following Jesus as close or closer than you follow sports or the news? Is your greatest concern on the course of your life to be that of being with Jesus where He leads you? Everyone's calling is a little different in office & location, but the common denominator is that Jesus is leading. Have you answered His call to be laborers in His field? Many are called but few chosen. Many are requested but few respond to the Spirits lead. What has the Spirit called you to today? Where is He leading you that will bring Him all the glory? Some take the bait that's not from God and are lead by a multitude of other criteria. What job pays more. Fear of many things so they run to and fro. Some blame God for the debt they get into claiming God wants them to be happy. Some take on other relationships while destroying their own that God gave them. See, there are many voices and tugs upon us in this world, but only the Spirit of God leads us to Jesus living! I wont move an inch if Jesus isnt in it! There is not enough money in the world to substitute what I have in communion with my Father in heaven.
