Events Must Happen before 2nd Coming

2 Thess 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

These events must happen before the 2nd coming of Jesus: 1st. The great falling away. 2nd. the antichrist being revealed. Paul will also give clear criteria before the antichrist is revealed later in this text.
The great apostacy, the falling away from the faith, I believe is already upon us.  The church as a whole today has kicked Jesus out of His church.  Jesus is not welcome!  The apostate church is disregarding every doctrine in the bible and adding doctrines that are satanic!  Many churches will never even mention Christs name.
The man of sin is the antichrist.  Not just the one who will oppose everything of Christ but much more be chosen instead of Christ into peoples lives.  He is the son of perdition.  Only one other man had this title, Judas.  He will come upon the scene once the church is raptured out of here.  He will bring a 7 yr false peace treaty to Israel and the world.  With nobody left who knows scripture, who has the Holy Spirit, he will be able to deceive everyone left upon the earth for a time.  Yet 3 1/2 yrs into the 7 yr great tribulation, he will show his true colors and God opens the eyes of His people Israel.  He will sit in the temple of God, he helps build, and demands to be worshiped as God.  He exalts himself.  You that have the Holy Spirit, you cant be deceived!  Dont be troubled by ideas and thoughts that are not grounded in the word.

It is very interesting! Apostasy is something that Christ

npredicted himself. In Greek, apostasia meant a political

nmilitary rebellion, but it is also used of rebellion against

nGod. As we approach the end of our times,

nit seems more and more people will turn against God in rebellion....it is true that there are many of church leaders now a days who DO NOT use Jesus' name when they ended their prayers. There's power in the name of

nJESUS!

n

nAnd yes! We cannot be deceived because the Holy Spirit dwells in us.

n"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." Romans 8:11.
