The Center of the Gospel
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus is the center of the gospel message. In fact, there is no good news without Jesus Christ. I dont think it is a coincidence that 12 words in front and 12 words behind the Son! Jesus is the gift from God. God in the flesh who came to save us from eternal death and show us who God is. The good news must always begin with the bad news. We are sinners from natural birth and we are heading quickly to hell. In fact, one must not do anything and he will end up in hell. However, that is why the good news is so important, Jesus came to same us from eternal separation. Not only does He want to save you but He also wants you to live with Him for all eternity. Life or death is based on ones reception or rejection of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord & Savior.
