Does the LORD Forget Us?
Psalm 132:1 LORD, remember David And all his afflictions;
Just chew on the raw request by David unto the LORD. David was loved by the LORD. Yet he went through many afflictions due to his relationship with the LORD, and some by his own doing. Yet, he felt like he was forgotten. I can definitely relate to David here. The fact is, God never forgets us yet our minds deceive us. We equate God to what we experience from those of this world. God never forgets us. He never gets to busy and puts us on the back burner. He has a great loving plan which includes us. The road is never easy however to be fair, the road apart from the LORD is much worse with no hope at all.
When you get down to basics however, don't you just want the LORD to never forget about you? If you are being afflicted at any measure, take comfort, all those before you have also, and here, David. You are in good company. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the LORD delivers us out of all of them.
