2 Peter 2:1 False Teachers

2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

This is a clear truth of all false teachers. They work in darkness, in secret, outside of Gods word of light. You can never find their sayings supported in scripture. They always seek to pick people away, out of the safety of numbers, to load them down with false teachings that are not proven nor scriptural. These secret doctrines are evident as there fruit always lead one away from Christ & His gospel. The secrecy of these false teachers are destructive in nature. I have honestly never witnessed a Jehovahs witness' life get better after being poisoned by false teachings they peddle. Never known a mormon live a more enriched Christ filled life. Even a Jim Jones follower who didn't drink the Kool aid but still supports the teachings. Our teachings can only go one of two ways: stands upon Christ' word or it rejects Christ' word and takes another route. I choose the first! A theological degree doesn't mean anything if one has rejected God Himself.
