Jesus before the Beginning
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning...
Jesus is God. He is the 2nd person of the Tri-une God. God the Son. In fact, Jesus created all things by Him and for Him. Everything that was created was done by Jesus. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth. The Hebrew word for God is plural. Jesus always existed. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word is God. Jesus is the Word of God. Jesus always existed. He then became flesh. God took on human fragile flesh. Jesus is the revelation of God. When we see Jesus, we see who God is. Jesus was fully God and fully Man! He revealed His glory to Peter, James, & John on the mountain as He transfigured and became really bright and shiny. How did He keep His glory under the wrapping of His flesh, that is a mystery to me? Jesus spoke the universe into existence and one day Jesus will say let go and all will be dissolved. Now that will be an atomic explosion that none has ever witnessed. But now, in the beginning He saw you! He loved you enough to come into this nasty world to save you.
