God Loves You
Malachi 1:2a “I have loved you,” says the LORD.“Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?
God Himself said this to Israel. Jesus has said this to us as well. God is love. This is the simple characteristic of God. Not to many people give this response to God but everyone thinks it! How & what ways do you love us? Often whatever trials we are going through over shadow this truth. We link them to God. In a world that says it loves you but only want from you what you have, until you dont, God is not that way.
God has demonstrated His love in going to the cross for us. God so loved the humanity in which He created that He willingly left His throne, became a human man, fulfilled all the righteous law we could not, and would be murdered upon a roman cross shedding His blood for us. The Father gave His only Son for you.

As a father, if there was "no other way"' I would give up my life to save my child's life. Jesus did that. Why? Because of Love. God is Love. He gave that to me. I didn't have to read and learn that. I believe we are born inherently with love in our hearts. It's this wicked world that wants to change our hearts. But when we have God as our strength, it cannot be changed.
Yes, God made us with His attributes yet due to sin, they were marred. Man became spiritually dead and love was twisted in mans views. We didnt know true love, on a Godly level, until Jesus. Ever since He came into our lives, His love changed everything. We love Him now but only because He 1st loved us, and revealed that love. No man could ever truly walk in this love apart from Christ, or why would He be so important. You and all fathers, can only be complete and love as God does because of Jesus. I like to think Im a loving person, and I am since Jesus, but before Jesus, even my facial expressions proved I was not. Jesus changed everything.
