Truth & Love
2 John 3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
All grace, mercy, and peace comes from only the Father & the Son. However those are all based in His Truth and His Love. Truth & love go hand in hand. You cant have one without the other, or its not from God. Truth without love is harsh, condemning, legalistic every time. Love without truth however is dangerous, heretical, wishy washy but not Gods unconditional love. I have plenty of examples in my own life where I only held one over the other, and every time it did not turn out well for me. See, we can never separate the two and why would we want to? Jesus is Love & Jesus is Truth! I want all of Jesus! Make sure, in all you say, in all you do, in everything you set out to do, you are established and grounded in His Love & Truth.
