Are You Thankful For Your Brother?

Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

When God changed my heart, so did He change my perspective of my brother.  This world is to difficult to walk alone.  Why do we even try?  We have a family given to us as a gift in Christ.  Some families are very divisive or disfunctional.  I get what divides us but Who unites us?  The best way I know is to get my eyes off fallen brothers and upon the LORD.  Then I can see them as He sees them and truly be thankful for their companionship.  I have been building a mass friendship network for 29 years now.  Some have fallen but still I love them so because Jesus does.  I thank God for every one of you He has placed in my life.  All have enriched me more than words can say.  Sure beats the worldly relationships I once had.  None of them are still around and none truly stood with me.

These are the relationships that God brings about, and I believe they will carry into eternity where we celebrate and worship the Lord who saved us from sin and death. I try to imagine what it will be like to eternally be in the Presence of God with eyes and hearts unmarred by sin and flesh, but my imagination just isn't that good. It truly will be joy unspeakable and full of glory.

I know right. We are not wired for heaven yet. One day, we will see Him as He is face to face.
