What Makes You Marvel?
Revelation 17:6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
John saw mystery Babylon and marveled at her. I think Johns actions sum up so many of us Christians. We expect one thing and often see another and wonder why or how could God allow it? Now, we are not told the degree of his wonder at her but I have to believe by personal experience, that how can evil get away with its agenda? Ultimately, the anger focuses upon the LORD as we demand answers from God. We should learn what Job learned about God. He wasted so much time on the why God questions until the LORD corrected his thinking. He then learned the Who God is and all was at peace. Trust God and just rest on the fact that somethings in life are just over our heads. Get to know Who God is and the why what He allows wont be such a big deal. Keep your eyes upon Jesus.

AMEN. Sometimes we want to focus on our Savior’s face, then the enemy doesn’t like it and he brings confusion and chaos. A simple question can bring confusion. Instead of answering it for clarification, I got screamed on for just a simple question. Then my flesh gets all over me. Why live in this kind of situation? The enemy wants to destroy what I’m working on so hard. But the Grace of God abounds and the only thing I can offer is prayers. “Let’s pray.” Then “can we read the Bible?” The hurt eased. The Face of God is clear. I focus on history face instead of giving up. Jesus Christ died for me. The hurt, the shame on Calvary cannot compare with what is in front of me. He sacrificed and he gave his life for me. I have no excuses to look upon his face. Thank you Jesus for being there for me when the enemy wanted to destroy my faith. I look upon your face and you give me strength to endure the trials you gave me.
