Lead Me In Your Righteousness

Psalm 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.

This is the call of my heart to God.  I want to walk after Jesus all my days.  I don't want to walk in a crooked path anymore.  I have experienced too much of the goodness of God.  I have seen His great love He has for me.  I have benefited by His endless grace.  Now, Its one thing to say we want to walk after Jesus, it is entirely another to allow God to work in us what He desires.  To trust Him in greater ways than ever before.  I feel God calling me to a greater trust in Him.  Greater not as in higher or more important, no, but greater as in, to much as is given, much is required greater.  Training wheels are fine when you are first learning to ride a bike but after awaile, its time to shed them and just coast allowing the Spirit to lead you higher in the heavens.  When I ask the LORD to lead me, what Im saying is, I understand the path is difficult, painful, and few walk in it due to this, but the end is life.  I want life even though it means death to me now. Death to self.  Death to worldly ideas.  Death to selfish ambitions.

I learn to trust him more in spite of all the tests and trials in my life. He is the one who owns my soul and the most important thing I can do is to live by faith through my Savior Jesus Christ. Habakkuk 2:4.
