Carried By The Spirit of God
Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness.
Who leads you right now? Does your own ambitions drive you where the flesh wants you to go or not go? Or does the Spirit lead you in unfamiliar territories that are fruitful? I can tell you, being led by His Spirit is not always fun, or do I understand what He is doing most of the time, yet it is satisfying. The Spirit leads where Jesus is. The Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness before as He would be tempted 40 days. Great victory was won there. Im just saying, the places God leads you wont feel good or comfortable. It causes us to trust Him more, depend upon us less. He burns out our flesh and energizes us with His Spirit. I have to admit, I don't always like being led by the Spirit because my flesh opposes such radical living. Yet it creates in me growth and a greater depth of relationship with me and my LORD. And know this, the Spirit is a perfect gentlemen, He will never force you to go places you don't desire to go or ask Him to take you. He will reveal certain paths we are to take to get there but we must ask with our own hearts to join Him on His journey. What say you?
