Contend for the faith
Jude 1:3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
Our salvation is so very simple and basic. It is not too complicated in that God made it simple enough for a child to grasp but intricate for a scientist to never exhaust. Common in that this salvation through Christ Jesus covers the whole world of those who believe.
Yet you must contend earnestly for the faith less you be cheated or deceived to part ways. Our republic with our constitutional rights are only as secure as we hold on to them and exercise them. "If we can keep it" our founding father stated!
There are many false doctrines and imitation gospels we need to steer far from but all the while contending for the true faith. It is worth dying for if need be for it holds eternal life.
Stand for Christ or fall for anything else.
