Catherine Saube (1417 ad)

Many of the churches greatest inspirational figures were quiet, introverts who really didn't care for attention.  Its as though, God gives them supernatural courage to do what us extroverts march toward publicly!  Catherine sought to be a nun from an early age.  She no doubt was a woman of prayer!  I don't believe the church has ever had too many prayer warriors.  Not a whole lot is known of Catherine or when she started to question the Catholic teachings of the church, but she did!  These slight moves in our day were life and death in hers.  To challenge the establishment called the Catholic church doctrines was death.  She no longer believed the communion bread was literally turned into Jesus' body nor should any man confess to a priest alone.  I believe these personal questions have always existed in man yet the issue is when man can no longer keep quiet about them!  She began to convince other nuns.  Common sense is contagious and truth is very attractive and powerful once received.  She was accused of "infecting the whole group."  What a badge of honor.  Catherine was burned at the stake with all her nuns of Lates Road in France.  I so appreciate all the Catherine's of the church, those who just want to live their lives in truth freely serving their Jesus.  If you are like Catherine, be encouraged.  Your Faith will be emboldened when and as it needs to be.  The quiet can speak loudly by their actions.
