God Delights in His Children Coming Home

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints.

Obviously, the saints don't truly die.  Jesus said, he that believes in Him though he temporal body passes, he will never die.  True death is eternal separation from God.  When we pass on into eternity, and leave this old worn out tent, we immediately go to be in our LORDS presence.  The Father knows better than anyone, we will have no more pain, no more misery, no longer plagued by sin.  His sons and daughters come home.  What parent doesn't love this?  If I, a worldly father, love seeing my kids when they come home, how much more Father God when we come home for good.  Jesus actually stood up for the arrival of Stephen when he was martyred.  He probably clapped and gave him the greatest hug ever known.  I'm running this race to win.  I feel I have lots to do.  Yet, when my time has come, I am coming home to a Savior who considers my arrival as precious.
