The Golden Rule
Matthew 7:12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
This verse has been labeled the Golden Rule. Jesus gave this in a positive form. Several others afterwards had said something much different, all in the negative. Such as, Don't do what you don't want done to you. Jesus is saying to us, I want you to initiate good to others in such a way you would want done to you. This is vastly different.
Whatever you want men to do to you, DO for them! I am to live this way toward my neighbor. This could change many lives around us as the church operates this way.
