Proclaim the Gospel to those Ready
Matthew 10:11 “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. 12 And when you go into a household, greet it. 13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!
How does one know if a town, a people, are worthy of the gospel or not? Well, Jesus taught His disciples using a simple test. The homes & places you go, if you are received peacefully, well the Spirit is opening the doors of their hearts. Stay there and share. If you are uneasy, no peace, the Spirit is showing you they have shut up their hearts to God and wont hear you. Leave there immediately, shake the dust off your feet as a symbolic meaning, I have no part in what judgment is coming next. This leaves no grey area of interpretation on who is worthy or not. The gospel of Christ must be received! It should never be forced! God help those who feel its their job to lead people into the kingdom of God by fear. If they resist the Spirit of God, what makes me think I can do a better job of getting through to them? I'm just a vessel lead by the Spirit and He knows best. LORD, lead me to those who are open to Your glorious gospel today. I desire to be Your laborer.

Another very freeing message. I am not responsible to fix it! As soon as I start thinking what should I do I realize that's probably not an area that I need to be in.
Amen. We have a part to do as christians yet God takes the stressful areas. He leads and we follow His lead. To often, we start to lead Jesus, and discover stress! Go where He sends, Go where He opens doors, Speak as He allows. Then just enjoy the journey He has us on. I appreciate you and all those who take the time and read these devos. Gods word is truly amazing!
