Sound Doctrine
Titus 1:9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.
How important is sound teaching of Gods word to you? I've heard tons of religious words from man, who claimed to be from god. It wasn't until I received Jesus into my life, to forgive me of my sins and to take control of my life, that Gods word made sense and the health it brought to my heart & mind. Gods word is faithful, never changing in this ever changing world. I must hold, stand firm, upon Gods word. The only way to encourage others or convict is by sound teaching of the word of God. Self helps and psychology, or even religious traditions wont change anybody to be like Jesus! Hearing Gods word and then doing what He says will change my life.

My opinion only: My life changed when I got saved and being in the flesh I fail miserably on a daily bases. The inspiration that God gives me to do his will, helps me to follow his words. He uses his vessel that holds his light to shine in this dark world by using sound doctrine, and that's my pastor my friend.
