How others view God thru you?
1 Samuel 2:17 Therefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord, for men abhorred the offering of the Lord.
Eli's sons were wicked as you get at! Nobody is perfect yet these guys sins caused others to hate bringing sacrifices to God because of their actions. The worst part was, these kids didn't even care. And their father Eli didn't do anything about it.
I dislike confrontation and having to correct folks but it is a necessary thing and really an act of love. To spare correction means I hate them.
A ministry that confronts when needed is a fruitful ministry! Not to condemn but to be lovers of righteousness. We all need guidance in this world and Gods word is our guide. Personally, I live for Christ and I would never want anyone to be repulsed at God due to my sin. Its bad enough our sin effects others!
Great news! We can live in such a way that people who come in contact with us leave us loving and wanting Jesus in their lives. I cant count all the people Ive been blessed to come into my life that because of Jesus in me, has brought glory to God. Now, that is a satisfying life.
