Have you Audibly Prayed for Someone Today?

1 Sam 7:5 And Samuel said, “Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.” 6 So they gathered together at Mizpah, drew water, and poured it out before the Lord. And they fasted that day, and said there, “We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the children of Israel at Mizpah.

Prayer is so simple yet so neglected.  We have power to change lives through prayer.  Ability to see God work in powerful ways.  The experiences we have that God is alive today and moving, all due to prayer.  Samuel prayed for them out loud.  This was truely what the Great Physician ordered because look at the response.  They people drew close to God due to Samuels action.  Sometimes, people dont know how to get right with God, though they want to.  Sometimes it takes others, like Samuel, to prime the well again.  Prayer unto the LORD is a great comfort & strength that we need constantly.  Prayer is the super highway to heaven.  Pray more and speak less is the agenda.

WOW! It’s amazing! I do pray and did pray this early this morning while driving. First was myself and my husband. It’s amazing! Secondly , I did pray for my pastor and his wife that God will put a hedge of protection round about them because there are people who needs them. They are needed for the congregation and for the people that they can reach out in this dark world. Then my children and grandkids. I really need to broaden my prayers. ???

Very good Lucy. Its always good to have those consistent prayers for folks as well as add others as the Holy Spirit puts upon your heart. You have a step ahead of many of us, you journal. Thats a great method to do. That way, you have written reminders, visual evidence, of the great answers to prayer. And thank you very much for praying for your pastor and his wife, Im sure he appreciates that greatly.
