Contagious Prayer

1 Sam 7:5 And Samuel said, “Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.” 6 So they gathered together at Mizpah, drew water, and poured it out before the Lord. And they fasted that day, and said there, “We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the children of Israel at Mizpah.

What a real Spirit moving event here.  All Israel gathers as Samuel prays for them unto the LORD. This is such a powerful bold move.  This is what our world needs more of today.  Those who will pray for the people in public.  Leaders who put prayer at the top of importance.  They gathered and look at what happens.  They confess their sins unto the LORD.  What great revival this is.  May the LORD continue to bless this way as we pray faithfully.  Confession and repentance from sin is a key characteristic to true revival.

Recognizing sin and repentance from the heart glorifies God. I cry for God’s restoration and His forgiveness of all my sins. It is a revival in my heart that He is able to provide the grace and joy in my heart. I’m grateful and blessed. :)
