Did God Chose Saul?

1 Samuel 10:23 So they ran and brought him from there; and when he stood among the people, he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward. 24 And Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him whom the Lord has chosen, that there is no one like him among all the people?” So all the people shouted and said, “Long live the king!”

Its easy to be a little confused about God & Saul, who choose who? Well, not really. God ultimately made firm the choice of mens wicked hearts. The people received whom they deserved and desired! By the way, that has not changed today! We get the leader we ask for as a nation. God will never force His will upon any of you. Yes, He is King of kings, and will one day come sit upon the throne on earth. Yes it was always His desire for His sons & daughters to be lead by Him. Reality is, men do reject the LORD and ask for a weak leader as themselves. I understand how we got Biden, I don't like it, nor was he fairly voted into office, but look how messed up this country was at the time! He really represents the nation in whom he is supposed to lead, as Saul here. I believe most Americans have woke up since then and really have come back to our roots. No, this isn't the revivals I've read of like the Welsh or Great Awakening. Not the Azuza street nor Jesus Movement! But who is to say this isn't a new revival God is doing? We cant put Him in a formula box at all. Who is to say that God isn't opening hearts in these last of last days to see their own sin and depravity? We pray for revival, I do! So, why not now? LORD, thank You for giving us some more time possibly yet my greatest desire is that You come LORD Jesus! Maranatha!
