Saul's Chosen Men

1 Samuel 13:1  Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel, 2 Saul chose for himself three thousand men of Israel. Two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in the mountains of Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin. The rest of the people he sent away, every man to his tent.

I wonder what kind of man Saul chose?  The outward manly man?  Maybe those men who looked like warriors?  How many men did he overlook?  Men look at the outward appearances but God examines the heart.  Saul isn't any different than my natural judgments on others.  Let's bring a dream team together.  That rarely ever works, unless you have a strong leader who can keep everyone focused, Saul was not that man.
In order to bring Gods team together, you must pray!  Seek the Lords direction.  The most uncommon of choices are discovered that God will choose.  God uses those the world would deem as foolishness.  Men would choose the greatest superstars known on earth to put on his team yet God would be more apt to pick the feeble, young, old, maybe even scout out a nursing home.  Let me ask you in my senerio, who gets the glory?  Now, God chose you, will He get the glory from your life?
