Stay In Your Lane
1 Samuel 13:11 And Samuel said, “What have you done?”
Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, 12 then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the Lord.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.” 13 And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.
Saul takes it upon himself to do the priestly duties. Samuel isn't moving fast enough for him. Fear Cripples his judgment. This is actually the deed that caused his kingdom to be stripped from him. Right as he began, he lost it. The king was not called to do priestly duties. Only One King in the Bible was ever going to fill this role, Jesus! He is our king and priest. I have witnessed this Saul like example in churches. Those who feel the church leadership isn't moving fast enough for them or feel they are not doing their due diligence. I never witness it comes out good for them. Gods leaders are flawed, no doubt about it, but they need the opportunity to listen and hear God move them. Failure is part of the process in building the man of God. Make no mistake about it, if the leaders are lazy or carnal, God will also take care of that. Trust God, pray for your leadership, and enjoy your Christian experience! Trust me, you do not want the heavy burden of making life and death decisions that have eternal ramifications. I don't take this lightly, but its the calling God placed upon me. The church belongs to Jesus and the church is Christ'. LORD, may your leadership of Your churches never get in front of You.

Amen! ?
If I am feeling rushed there's a good chance that Satan is involved. A while back I read Satan is in a hurry, God is Not. If I am feeling rushed, I am so anxious?
