God Wants a Man After His Heart
1 Samuel 13:14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”
You do know God already had a man in mind! David seems to be the obvious choice yet this One is greater than David, His name is Jesus. Only Jesus truly fulfills this. Yes, David is the near fulfillment yet the far reaching is Jesus! Behold, in the volume of the book, its written of Me. Jesus kept all the Fathers commands. Jesus is commander over all His people. If you haven't noticed, Im lifting up Jesus here!
