Taking The Best
1 Samuel 14:52 Now there was fierce war with the Philistines all the days of Saul. And when Saul saw any strong man or any valiant man, he took him for himself.
Saul took the biggest and strongest. That makes complete sense to the natural mind. Nobody wants the weak or smallest. Yet God changes everything. He takes the foolishness of the world. He takes the weak and humble and makes something great from them. This is so amazing and gives me much hope. The strong of this world wont give God glory for they are deceived in that they feel they achieved that. Yet, the weak bring glory to God when Gods mighty works are done through them. I can testify to this in so many ways. When Im weak, then Im strong in Him. What a wonderful deal for us.
