God is Light-Revelation
1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
God is light. He reveals truth to us. He illuminates the path of life to us. He desires we never stumble. The other part to this is equally revealing to us. There is no darkness in Him at all. He doesn't have another side. Some say He is merciful and gracious but don't get on His bad side of Judgment and wrath. I get that to some degree but there is no bad side to God. His wrath and judgment is perfectly just and righteous. All these attributes exist in God at the same time. He doesn't change. He is the same yesterday, today, & forever. We are the only factor that changes. If we need His grace, He has it. If we need His wrath, He has it. He does not have a dark side. All sin, all temptation to sin, is not of God but of another source. Have you come to His glorious light? Have you experienced the great love He has toward you? Have you been made clear that God is going to judge a Christ rejecting world very soon? Wonderful!
