Your Not Insignificant
Acts 16:14 Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. 15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.
This is the humble beginnings of the church at Philippi. No men, or at least none recorded here. This lady named Lydia worshiped God the best she could. Maybe not totally correct but then maybe she was. But Paul comes and shares the gospel with her. God opened her heart and she listened and acted upon those things. She is baptized with her household. So cool. I always want to bring myself to the first time the gospel message came across my path, as did Lydia. The amazing feeling and excitement it brought. The total contrast from the bland world. The church of Philippi was an amazing place because of this amazing woman's faithfulness and reception of the gospel. She wasn't a pastor, she was a solid believer and a strong woman to support the work God was doing in her hometown. Worshiping God will open amazing opportunities in your life! I cant think of a greater thing to do in this life. I cant count all the times I just got lost and carried away in worship and the presence of God filled my life. I want to be a good teacher, pastor, but I desire to be a great worshiper of the LORD! This Lydia, she started right. And because of that, she received revelation of God. Does it get better than this?

When we consider all the beauty of this Earth, and the loving relationships God brings into our lives, many in this world would find it to be good. It is good, but it does not complete us. There's that place in us that can only be complete when we truly worship the Lord, allowing His Holy Spirit to bring us into His Presence. There we are complete.
So very true. The many things we aspire to, accomplish in this life, goals we set for ourselves, they all do not compare to a simple life and heart of worship unto our LORD. When we are doing what we have been created to do through out eternity, but here and now, oh what a satisfaction like Ive never experienced any other way. I wont be a teacher forever, I wont have to stand in a particular ministry forever, but I will worship my Savior Forever! What an amazing wonder.
