Simplicity isnt always good
Prov 1:22 How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.
In most cases, being simplistic is a good thing. The over complication of life needs simplified. But when it comes to sin in a life, our ability to soar higher in the heavenly realms, the fine details only God builds in us, stagnates to simple basic carnal living. A man choosing to live in the pig pin of sin has retarded his growth and staying a helpless baby. I think, a better way of looking at this is, Maturity vs immaturity. Sin will keep us stunted. Sin will steal the word God gives us to build us up and grow in maturity. How long, my friend in sin, will you endure the agony that sin inflicts upon you? Knowledge informs us, so the fool hate knowledge.
LORD, I love how You have made living in You simple but also am aware life in You matures me and builds me up. Your process is way to detailed and fine tuned than man could ever do.
