Trust in your LORD
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths
What great advice for all of us. Trust in the LORD. This call to be a Christian requires spiritual senses. From birth, we have all or some of our physical senses which we use to navigate life. These natural senses are diametrically opposed to the spiritual senses that are given by God. We trust in a LORD we don't see yet but have experienced. We don't default back to our natural senses to direct our steps.
Football great Emmitt Smith tells of his grandmother who before she passed away, gave him this verse before a high school state championship game. He has let this verse go before him ever since. God has done great things in him.
