Giving to God is personal
Matthew 6 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
We are to be charitable givers. Jesus said, when we give. But don't give as the hypocrites give. They give to be seen by men. They may receive the praise of men but that's all they will have. Jesus said we are to give in secret, and our Father who alone sees the secret things, will reward us openly.
I have seen to many examples of these hypocritical givers but mostly, Christ church is full of the correct givers. The church operates best when it follows its Shepherds instruction, and that is Jesus! As a pastor, the nature of the office, I know more than most, by Christians who obey this, and love to give as Jesus said here. I will take those secrets to heaven and let our Father divvy out the rewards. But for every gift Im made aware of in the church, I know without doubt, there are ten times that I have no idea about. The Holy Spirit leads and moves and stirs upon the giver to bless the receiver. So church, give as God leads, give cheerfully, for God loves a cheerful giver for one day soon, you just may be the one on the other end and your Father in heaven is also moving for you. I love to give but Im fully aware, God has given to me way more than I have ever given Him.

Our Father withholds no good thing from us. He is the definition of generosity.
